About

Hi, Im Jesse!

I’m a licensed therapist with over 13 years of experience in educational and clinical settings, including more than 7 years providing psychotherapy to adolescents, young adults, and adults. My professional path began in education as a math and science teacher before transitioning into school counseling and mental health, where I discovered my passion for supporting individuals through personal growth and life transitions.

As a first-generation Latino raised by immigrant parents, and a proud UCLA graduate, my journey has shaped the empathy, cultural awareness, and authenticity I bring into my work. Having navigated my own academic and personal challenges, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to find direction, build confidence, and create a sense of purpose.

My work focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity exploration, and academic or career-related stress. I am especially passionate about supporting transitional-aged youth, LGBTQ+ individuals, and men working through identity, relationships, and major life changes.

I founded Easy Peasy Counseling to make therapy feel more approachable and less intimidating. While life can be complex, seeking support doesn’t have to be. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in genuine human connection, creating a space where you feel respected, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Easy Peasy Counseling was created from the belief that life’s hardest moments still hold meaning. What sets this space apart isn’t just the work we do—it’s how we do it.

With intention, compassion, and collaboration, we turn the messy, the overwhelming, and the sour into opportunities for growth, clarity, and empowerment.
